The Minnesota Department of Health has birth records going back to January 1908. Contact the County Registrar of Vital Statistics for copies of records before that date.

The Minnesota Historical Society has a Death Certificate Index web page at http://people.mnhs.org/dci/ Currently, this database indexes the death cards from 1906 to 1907 and the death certificates from 1908 to 1996.

There is a Minnesota state wide index of marriage records from January 1958. Inquiries sent to the Minnesota Department of Health will be forwarded to the appropriate county office. Certified copies are not available from the State Department of Health. Contact the County Registrar of Vital Statistics where the marriage license was issued.

There is a Minnesota state wide index of divorce records from January 1970. Inquiries will be forwarded to the appropriate office. Certified copies are not available from the State Department of Health. Contact the County Registrar of Vital Statistics where the divorce was granted.
